Working at Bishop Wilkinson Catholic Education Trust
Bishop Wilkinson Catholic Education Trust (previously known as Trinity Catholic MAT) was formed in 2019. We are a vibrant, forward thinking, innovative and ambitious education trust in the North East of England.
About Us
We are at an exciting time in our journey, having formed in 2019, we are proud to be the largest catholic education trust in the region, bringing together into one Trust, forty-eight schools in the West of the Diocese.
Our family of schools encompasses provision across nursery, primary and secondary phases of education covering schools in the areas of Gateshead, Sunderland, Durham and Northumberland.
The Trust is led by a strong and effective Board of Directors who collectively provide support and challenge to achieve excellence in education, and ensure we provide first-class teaching and learning school environment in which our children feel safe and flourish.
We enjoy excellent partnerships with our schools, as well as the relationships we have with the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle, our parishes, the Local Authorities in which our schools are located, our local governing committees and our communities.
